University of Texas Press: Life on the Hyphen Book Cover

My buddy from design school, Lindsay Starr is a super talented designer for The University of Texas Press. She asked me to shoot a few images for the cover of Life on the Hyphen by: Gustavo Pérez Firmat. Here's the final cover design! Any excuse to spend some quality time with my favorite old man friends in Little Havana. Rawr.

Sweetness!

I stumbled upon this site via Swiss Miss and have been staring at it for the past hour.
Little baby animals have always been on my top five favorites list of things to look at...just under tall men in suits and large diamonds.
Have a look, I guarantee it'll make you want to jump into a pool full of cotton balls...or something equally fuzzy.

Stuff Like This Happens in Georgia...Ya'll

I'm in Geeeorgia

(please read the following in a Southern accent, because it sounds so much better that way)
Everything is sweeter in Georgia.
I haven’t heard a horn and/or seen a middle finger since crossing the border...and if I did, I’d just assume they’re from Florida anyway. Georgia can do no wrong in my book. The leaves are changin’ and this mama's a cravin’...cobbler...and a miniature jeep with two giant puppies in the back.
