Off to Scotland Take Two!

Off to Scotland...

I'm flying to Scotland tonight for a pre-Christmas adventure...and to shoot my buddy's wedding (please see Heather below...). I'm anxious to play American Crumpet all over again...and, yes, Shipley is on the list!

Out With The Old and In With The New

As tatty and beat up as these pot holders could possibly be, it was still difficult to say good bye and move on. Josh’s Christmas present from me this year was two new pot holders and an oven mitt. Yes, I’m fully aware that that’s just as bad as getting underwear from 'Santa' Christmas morning...or (yawn) socks in the stocking. But what can I say, it’s a tough economy and needs come before wants.

ps. Marlene, I wanted to believe, but the Strawberry Shortcake underwear that we picked out together at Target all those years ago gave you away.

This morning I had the opportunity to observe/assist Yachin Parham on a photo shoot. Yachin is a third quarter Miami Ad School student with tons of personality and plenty of drive. Here's a lil' behind the scenes sneak peek...

I'm so pleased that I had the opportunity to attend the Levi’s® Art Basel "Shape What's to Come" Event.
It was an depth panel discussion with eight amazing women artists that caused me to walk away inspired...more to come later this week!

Levi’s® Art Basel Event

This coming Saturday, I’ve been invited to attend an Art Basel event sponsored by Levi’s® and their new online community for women called Shape What’s to Come; a global platform to connect women with others in the industry so that through collective mentorship we can share, inspire and grow.

Along with other bloggers, I’ll have the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion with some of our generation’s most influential female artists, ask questions, and hear them discuss the business of art as well as the inspirations that lead to their success.

I’m really excited to be a part of this…AND I get a free pair of jeans to boot! Thank you Levi’s®.
